Case Details
This woman felt that her vision was being compromised by her drooping upper eyelids and wanted to address the excess skin that was making her look tired. She also had a basal cell carcinoma removed from under her left eyelid and needed reconstruction on the area. Dr. Tresley performed a bilateral upper lid ptosis, which tightens and lifts the upper eyelid muscle and a bilateral upper lid blepharoplasty to get rid of the excess fat and skin that was hanging on the upper eyelid. Additionally, Dr. Tresley performed reconstructive surgery on the area where the basal cell carcinoma was removed by placing a skin graft on that region. The patient healed wonderfully and her results are dramatic.
