Case Details
This patient had significant drooping to both upper eyelids which impaired his vision and caused him to have a sleepy appearance. The patient also felt that his eyelids were turning outwards and sagging away from the eye, causing the eye to be red, irritated, and dry. Dr. Tresley performed a bilateral upper blepharoplasty to remove the excess upper eyelid skin and fat and a bilateral lower lid blepharoplasty, which eliminated the heavy under eyelid bags. He also performed a bilateral upper lid ptosis repair to correct the drooping lid and elevate the eyelid. In addition, Dr. Tresley performed a bilateral ectropion where he tightened the eyelid and returned it back to normal positioning.
