Case Details
This patient felt that her eyelids were drooping and that her vision was obstructed by the excess hanging skin. She expressed that she was unhappy with the deep, heavy bags under her eyes. The patient also felt that her eyelids were turning outwards and sagging away from the eye, leaving the eye feeling irritated and dry. Dr. Tresley performed a bilateral upper blepharoplasty to remove the excess upper eyelid skin and fat and a bilateral lower lid blepharoplasty, which eliminated the heavy under eyelid bags. He also performed a bilateral upper lid ptosis repair to correct the drooping lid and elevate the eyelid. In addition, Dr. Tresley performed a bilateral ectropion where he tightened the eyelid and returned it back to normal positioning. The patient was extremely pleased with her vibrant, more youthful appearance.
